Find Out if You’re a Candidate for Surgery

Would you like to be glasses-free and are thinking about LASIK, PRK or refractive surgery? You can make an appointment with our expert team of optometrists and they will assess if you are a candidate. They will also co-manage with your eye surgeon to take care of your eyes before and after your surgery.

You might be a good candidate if:

  • Your cornea is healthy and thick

  • Your prescription is stable

  • Your eyes are healthy

  • Your prescription is not too high or complicated

Assisting You Through Surgery

Glen Abbey Vision Centre will help you make an informed choice for a smooth surgery and recovery. Our doctors work with many surgeons and can help ensure your eyes are healthy before and after surgery.

Once we’ve determined you’re a good candidate, we will refer you to a laser clinic. From there, the surgeon will discuss all the different types of surgeries best suited for your eyes.
