Cleaning and Storing Contact Lenses

    2. Replace your contact lens case every 3 months to reduce risk of bacterial contamination

    3. DO NOT sleep, shower or swim in your contact lenses. You will be at risk of an eye infection

    4. Never use tap water to clean your lenses or your contact lens case. Use saline and dry it with a tissue

    5. Wear your contact lenses for the appropriate time-line of the lenses (2 weeks or 1 month). Do not extend the wear as the material will break down

    1. Use hydrogen peroxide to clean your lenses. Note, the lenses must be in the case for at least 6 hours so the solution can neutralize

    2. Use multipurpose saline solution to rinse off the cleaning solution. Next, use Boston solution to remove protein deposits on the lens. Ensure to gently rub the lenses with your finger for a thorough cleaning

    3. Use a preservative-free eye drop as recommended by your eye doctor before insertion or prior to removal

    4. Be gentle when cleaning and handling the lenses to prevent breakage
